How was the local ABV Director and the support provided in-country? Gretty and Helennisse were amazing
What was your favorite memory of this trip? Going to Sicuara with my volunteer brothers + sisters, scaling a mountain in Cuzco, translating poems from Spanish to English for one of the children at the center.
What was the most surprising thing you experienced? The kids at the clinic center remained for the most part, happy unfrustrated moods.
What was most difficult to experience? Patient advocay againist the nurses for the kids.
Any tips for future volunteers… (clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc)
” Keep on moving, keep climbing, keep the faith, ..its all about the climb…” Be prepared for all types of weather
