My Favorite Memory: Seeing the boys running for their rooms because they knew we had painted it!
I was surprised that….the children were from abusive backgrounds

The most difficult thing I experienced was… getting used to the heat and sun - Ohio is not like this : )
My best received lesson… We really do not know as much as we think.

Tip for future volunteers… (Clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc)
Money donations are best. Bring lots of high level of sunscreen. Caye Caulker and the ruins are a must see.
Personal Paragraph (Testimonial):
Thank for your this wonderful experience. I know the students I brought with me are forever changed by this opportunity

How would you rate your experience working with the ABV staff, both in the USA, and in-country?
Sarah in the US office was very helpful and was always ready to answer our questions – thank you for the ABV Tshirts.
How would you describe your accommodation ( ie: host family, on-site, shared housing etc)
Very nice, no need to bring your own bed sheet or towels.
Are you willing to speak to other potential ABV volunteers? Yes
