My Favorite Memory: On the day of my arrival, while Mr. Tillett picked me up from the airport, on the way back to the children’s home, we ran into a bunch of kids who just got off from school. They saw us and rushed into the car. The car was fully packed. It was a warm welcome!
I was surprised that…. the children in Belize know who Justin Beiber is.
The most difficult thing I experienced was…. counting the chickens in the farm. They were everywhere!

My best received lesson… Be friendly! Be funny! These 2 characteristics have helped me open up to people.
Tip for future volunteers… (Clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc)
Be sure to not only bring insect repellant, also pack anti-itch cream. Not being bitten by mosquitos throughout your stay is just like winning a jackpot!
Personal Paragraph (Testimonial):
Seeing children play and learn reminded me of my childhood. PLaying and laughing with them have restored my long lost feeling of being a kid.
