My Favorite Memory: playing pictionary with my host family!
I was surprised that….everything was so perfectly planned and set up for me!
The most difficult thing I experienced was…. adjusting to the altitude, but even that only lasted one day!
My best received lesson… people are nice and helpful everywhere.
Tip for future volunteers… (Clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc) : Spend much more time than just one week! bring a camera, speak Spanish as much as you possible can!
Personal Paragraph (Testimonial): Overall, the experience was great. I can not speak highly enough of the ABV staff or my host family. My placement in an orphanage was quite a learning experience.
How would you rate your experience working with the ABV staff, both in the USA, and in-country? The ABV staff was consistently accessible and helpful. I am more than satisfied.
How would you describe your accommodation (ie: host family, on-site, shared housing etc) My host family was probably my favorite part of the whole experiance. Wonderful family, beautiful house, delicious food, good location! Highly recommended!
