My Favorite Memory:
Singing songs from my iPod with the students

I was surprised that….
the students were learning similar things to my students in the United States.

The most difficult thing I experienced was….
the cockroaches in the apartment

My best received lesson…

Tip for future volunteers… (Clothing, travel, personal items, donations, sightseeing etc)
Bring music to play for the kids, you can get money from the ATMs- easy, bring snacks you like from home, not sure it is worth bringing games and books from the home- better to give money and help with what they need when you are there

Personal Paragraph (Testimonial)
This project is a great place for children. Getting an education is so important for the students and the only way for them to move out of their current economic status. I really enjoyed working with the students and was so impressed with how bright they are. I think it is important for volunteers to build a relationship with the school that will help students, teachers, and the school community to continue to grow into the future. A Broader View made it possible for me make this connection and be able to see and experience the school first hand.

Are you willing to speak to other potential ABV volunteers? Yes
